JU + DESIGN began with Alexandria Judie’s work selling out at a local art show in Houston, Texas in 2017. Since then, the practice has grown steadily, expanding its reach while remaining grounded in original thought and intentional craft.

Today, JU + DESIGN products are carried in more than 25 storefronts nationwide and internationally, collected by those drawn to work with presence and perspective.

JU + DESIGN operates as both creative practice and design studio, moving fluidly between disciplines. The house offers creative direction, art direction, brand development, and product design, alongside limited edition objects for the home. Each project, whether for a brand or an individual collector, is approached with the same commitment to clarity, intention, and lasting impact.

The Founder

Alexandria Judie, known as Ju, is a multidisciplinary creative, designer, and founder of JU + DESIGN. A Louisiana State University graduate, she brings over a decade of experience across design, branding, and visual storytelling.

She began her professional career in architecture and landscape architecture, working as a project architect for two firms in Houston, Texas. The discipline and rigor of these fields shaped her approach to creative work, grounding it in structure, function, and long term thinking. That foundation informs a practice that balances clarity with emotion and concept with execution.

Ju’s work moves fluidly between creative direction, art direction, design and ceramics. She develops strategic and visually compelling narratives for brands while maintaining a deep commitment to craft, detail, and cohesion. From national 360 campaigns to rebrands and social first initiatives, her approach ensures every element contributes meaningfully to a larger story. Storytelling remains at the center of her practice. Whether guiding creative direction for brands, shaping identities, or creating functional and sculptural objects, Ju works with intention, precision, and cultural awareness.
